Things people ask before they sign up.
Can I switch tiers mid-season?
Yes. Upgrade Free → Pro any day, including race morning. Pro → District whenever your council coordinates more packs. We pro-rate Pro, and District pricing is sized on a call so timing fits the deal.
Do you charge per racer?
No. Free, Pro, and District are flat — no per-racer fees from us. Bring 12 racers or 1,200, same plan. If your group charges its own entry fee, that money is yours: parents pay it at registration and your group receives every dollar of it.
What happens after the season?
Your account stays. Results pages stay live. Next year your racers see last year's car (Pro and District; Free keeps results online for 30 days). We don't delete your history when your renewal lapses.
Do parents pay anything?
Not to us. Registering, watching the broadcast, and viewing results are free for parents on every tier. If your group charges an entry fee for an event, parents pay that fee — plus a small card-processing fee — when they register, and your group receives the full fee.
Can we collect our entry fee online?
Yes, on every tier — including Free. Set a registration fee on the event and parents pay by card as part of signup. No checks to chase, no payment app to reconcile. Your group receives the full fee; a card-processing fee of 3.95% + $0.95 (Free) or 2.9% + $0.50 (Pro and District) is added to the parent's total. Cash at the door still works — staff mark the racer paid at check-in.
Can I add the GrandPrixHQ Link later?
Yes. The Link is a $149 one-time purchase, sold separately from the Pro subscription. Add it whenever you're ready — works with any Pro or District account.
Is the GrandPrixHQ Link required for Pro?
No. Pro works with manual heat entry, or with your existing timer plugged into a laptop. The Link is for groups that want live timing without a cable across the gym.
Can my district pay one bill for several packs?
Yes — that's what District is for. One account, one admin, one place for parents from any pack to find their kid's results. Pricing is sales-led — schedule a call and we quote you on the same call.
